First eggs on milkweed found while weeding a Monarch Way Station today! Holy cow - they are so early (6 weeks at least)! I counted 21 eggs who are now safe and warm on my dining room table. Not sure how many, if any, are going to make it after all the rainy, cold weather we've had, but it is worth giving it a try!
