A school group of 2nd and 3rd graders were at Pony Creek Nature Center for hike on the prairie, cleaning milkweed seed, and making milkweed seed balls for bike riders in RAGBRI to distribute along the roads. As they gathered before leaving a monarch came and we watched it going from milkweed to milkweed. On the plant in front of the children there were 2 eggs.
