Saw both a male and a female within 5 minutes of each other (~7:15pm) feeding at two of our 4 feeders (festooned with red and orange line tape fashioned to look like flowers). The two both feed at the same 2 feeders and the female took several minutes to perch on a nearby limb to preen herself. While earlier than two years ago, this first sighting was much later than last year (May 1). FYI: Feeders have been up since April 2.
