Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 05/12/2017

Number: 2

Continuing report of two larvae that were first seen as two of seven eggs on a one inch stalk of milkweed on April 15 and first seen as larvae on May 3, 2017. They are both doing well and growing each day. I have photos to document their growth because I was concerned there would not be enough milkweed to support them. The milkweed is growing faster than the caterpillars, so it turned out not to be a problem at all.
