Saw this fresh new female flying around the garden, laying single eggs (no egg-dumping) on the common and swamp milkweed. This made today a first for our spring monarch observations, as we have all four stages present in our garden today: eggs, caterpillars, chrysalises and this one adult butterfly! Normally this only happens for us with the fall migration.
