Stopped very briefly for a respite on a shepherds hook in my garden. Did not visit the feeder. Tho't l saw one earlier - on Sunday - at the blooms on a Buckeye tree, as well. Couldn't discern in either event if male or female as rain & shadows respectively were in play.

A male ruby throated hummer has stopped twice at the nectar feeder this evening - finally back. Made my day!
