Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/17/2017

Number: 1

I'm certain it was a Monarch as I have raised them for years. (I save them before the spiders or wasps get them after they hatch).
I've seen Yellow Swallowtails since about 5/15/17, and both Painted Ladies and Red Admirals for maybe a week or two.

Milkweed is up- the Swamp Milkweed and the traditional milkweed. I have not seen eggs on them yet, but I will look.
I did not get a photo of the Monarch-- he must have been passing through because I only saw him once
