4 pm while driving leaving Point Pelee National Park near north end of park, Sanctuary Pond observed 1 monarch flitting south about 6' up from the ground just following the road. Did not descend to check out spring flowers...just cont'd fluttering south.
Today observed near Sleepy Hollow in meadow many (50)Common Milkweed up about 8".
Strong 36kmh SW winds on this hot 31°c/87° day.
2 additional monarchs observed in park earlier today (morning) near south end of park as reported to me by visitors.
