We spotted our first female in our front yard. She was visiting our salvia and sedum plants. I tried to get a photo but you can't really tell it's a butterfly as she was hustling around.

We found an egg the same day at Wabun Park in Minneapolis on a small milkweed plant. It hasn't hatched yet, but looks ready in the next day or so.
