Hello bird people,We have settled into our new home and I have planted my hummer/butterfly garden.Have seen lots of birds - hummers, orioles,cardinals,veerys,Orchard orioles,yellow warblers,clay sparrows,wrens,white-throated sparrows,wb nuthatches,red-bellies,hairys,and all the other common yard birds.My mom has chipping sparrows nesting in her clematis vine,cow bird laid two eggs in the nest, I took them out.Found a place down the ally where some common milkweed is growing,will check it for cat.Hope to get my own milkweed started before the summers over.Good birding to all.
