Was out checking my milkweed in the front yard. Found some eggs and started collecting them...I then look up and see a female monarch fly right over my head. She went from dandelion to milkweed back to dandelion. Took a couple pics with my phone but they didn't show up very well. With 15 eggs in the bucket I left her alone to lay more and she did🤗! Partly cloudy 68 degrees and NW wind at 10-15 mph but this area is protected from wind.

PS the 20 eggs I collected on the 17th of may are all 3 instars now.
