At approx 3 pm Observed 1 monarch butterfly flit from east to west over the Daycare I work at. It did not stop to check out nearby Common milkweed & continued east out of view. It was not tattered & appeared fresh looking. Unable to determine sex. It was a beautiful blue sky day with temp around 22°c and moderate sw winds.
Shortly afterward the milkweed at the east side of the daycare was searched for eggs finding none.
