Today a healthy female monarch was born and released. She had been brought in as a 1st instar on 4/20/17. She formed her chrysalis on 5/3/17. This beautiful monarch is ready to adventure forth ~ a wonderful child of the intrepid monarchs who earlier made the long journeys, both south and north. I wonder if someone will spot her and tell about her in a report on Journey North!
