As of 5/21/17 We have 11 monarch chrysalis in cage outside and 4 larvae. We observed monarch laying earlier and counted many eggs and later larvae but we have lots of birds and think they were being eaten by our birds so we put a cage over milkweed and relocated all the larvae we could find.
