One caterpillar on my Swamp Milkweed, I think 4th or 5th instar. I collected it, put it in a container, and fed it for three days at which time it became a chrysalis (5/18)

On May 17 I collected a second caterpillar of approximately the same size. It went to chrysalis on 5/19.

Tuesday May 30 I released the first monarch butterfly! (female). Thursday June first I released the second (male).
