Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/31/2017

Number: 1

One monarch suddenly appeared flying above our flowering itea bushes. We could not tell whether it was a male or female because as it was nectaring on the flowers, it's wings were closed. It was very flighty and each time we approached closer to it, it would fly off. Eventually, it disappeared above the nearby trees.
