Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/03/2017

Number: 1

I came home from a nearby butterfly nature walk , stepped outside the back door to be greeted by the first monarch of the season here - a female. She flew to me, then to the milkweed patch where she began laying eggs for a short while before flying to foliage to rest. Her right wing is tattered.
