Peter Hall, co-author of Butterflies of Canada, just wrote to say: Just to let you know that I had my first Monarch of 2017. It was sighted in the small hamlet of Flower Station on the Kingston & Pembroke trail. As far as I know, it’s the furthest northeast sighting in Ontario so far.
