June 4, 2017 at 7:30 PM Was at a friends house when I first spotted a monarch flying high at tree top level which were American Elm trees. I didn’t get the sex since it was about 75 feet above me. Stayed in the tree for 20 minutes then flew across the yard and back into the Elm trees. City Grand Forks, ND Temperature 82 degrees Wind NW 5 mph and Clear Sky. Waystation 4006
