Too fast for the camera, which I didn't have with me at the time I surprised it from the jostaberry shrubbery on the N. side of the yard. It surprised me, too. No Mississippi Kites in sight, either. It flew to a nearby apricot tree, so I thought getting my camera was in order, but it was gone by the time I did. Wormy apricots on the ground attracted Spangled Fritillaries but that's it. WOW.
