Working in our Wildflower garden Large adult came soaring by and landed in a wet area.
We have numerous Wildflower species and a few are now blooming. we also have Milkweed growing from sprouts to 16" high but! non are blooming.
We have not seen returning Monarchs in a few years now. We have been working to provide a habitat for butterflies.
Also have Yellow Swallowtails and spotted a Black Swallowtail yesterday.
