Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 06/13/2017

Number: 1

At 12:30 p:m one monarch flew into our yard and landed on the top of a syriaca plant. It perched there for a few minutes and then made a circuit of the whole yard. It flew away after that. Only 10 minutes later another sighting (same butterfly?)flew in and went right to a butterfly bush and nectared for 15 minutes before leaving. I was able to determine the sex this time as being a female. Monarch Waystation #13039
