I saw my first Monarch Butterflies here today while walking out to my field with a fellow town member. I was teaching her about Common Milkweed plants and how to find Monarch eggs and caterpillars, which we did find some of both. I saw about 10 Monarch Butterflies over the course of the day today. I had found eggs earlier this year but this is the first time I saw actual Monarch Butterflies. I witnessed some on Common Milkweed plants but not any nectaring on anything. Most were gliding around checking things out.
