I saw a Monarch here near Bridgetown, Nova Scotia on Wednesday, June 14th. It stayed just for a few seconds in the lilacs but was so bright and beautiful. I can't believe we are seeing Monarchs here already. My one and only came in August last year and managed to give us over 125 eggs and caterpillars so I have great hopes for this year. One a year would make my year, believe me.
