While mowing the lawn today on two separate occasions my husband and I each saw a monarch flying around frantically. We wonder if we unintentionally mowed over some milkweed. Its behavior was so unusual, and the fact that it appeared during mowing – at two separate times of day – makes us curious. This is the second sighting of the year. Our first sighting was June14th.
