About 6 PM on Liatris ligulistylis. While I have many appropriate nectar flowers (and milkweed), this monarch repeatedly returned and stayed for long intervals on this plant that is just starting to bloom. The monarch continued to nectar for 1.5 to 2 hours! This is an uncommon month for me to see monarchs.
