Saw this one resting at the edge of a wildflower meadow. Earlier I had seen a large orange butterfly flying fast over the flowers but I couldn't tell for sure that it was a monarch. So this may be it or another one.

Editor's Note: This is a viceroy butterfly, a 'mimic' of the monarch.
