Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 06/17/2017

Number: 2

Murfreesboro, TN is the exact center of Tennessee which is also the southern-most border of the Monarch butterfly breeding habitat. This is the first time Monarch Meadow has been used as a summer breeding habitat. Thrilled! In this photo, my aunt, Dorothy Auxier, was visiting us from Chicago, had never seen a Monarch caterpillar, and found two of them within 30 minutes of strolling through the Meadow. :)
