Saw this Monarch on a large patch of flowering milkweed at Catherine's Creek in the Columbia Gorge. The Milkweed is beginning to flower there and it is fairly plentiful.
Catherine's Creek is located near Lyle Washington. It was established in 1987 as a sort of natural preserve and features a fantastic number of wild flowering plants. A good place for Milkweed to gain a foothold and hopefully the Monarch
