Fresh monarch in flight, flew over my fence into neighbor's yard, landed on a butterfly bush in bloom. I couldn't get close enough to tell if it was male or female. I have lots of milkweed of various species but the monarch didn't land in my yard. I observed it from 4:45 until 4:55 flying and landing on butterfly bush. Warm and sunny, temperature 93 degrees and breezy. This is the 2nd sighting for this season, and first time I've spotted monarchs in June.
