Sometimes, butterflies have trouble flying out of the atrium, because it is approx. 10 x10 and they have to fly pretty much straight up. The butterfly had been unsuccessfully trying to leave so we put her on a plastic fly swatter and moved them both to an outside bush, and she made it. She flew away in no time. We did not touch her.
