The 1st born fledgling took off from the nest June 30th at either 11 or 12 days after its birthday. It was lucky enough to survive the potential death by "Tomcat" thanks to its Mother absolutely FREAKING OUT!! However, the next morning, I believe it was killed by crows in a small wooded area just beside our set of townhouses. Although I heard the Mother and Father Robin attempting to fight off one crow and perhaps even some of 'his' pals, sadly they were unsuccessful and lost their 1st born. They hung out with their younger fedgling for a couple days but the nest has been empty since the early hours of July 22nd. 😞
