We left this milkweed coming up through our deck and happened to see this little guy on the top leaf. Don't know where he had been to get that big, or how the butterfly even laid the egg since there were no signs of it eating leaves. It is a mystery! Maybe we'll find out when we finally pull the milkweed out.
