Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 07/08/2017

Number: 2

We saw 1 Monarch land on our milkweed blossoms in the early afternoon. It flew off the blossoms around the yard and to neighbors. Came back flew up to crab tree and stayed there. I did not see it leave.
The second Monarch came late afternoon, stayed mostly in our yard about 20 minutes. Looked like newly emerged butterfly. Was flying around, nectaring on several different blossoms, landed on the middle top milkweed leaves. I was hoping to find eggs, but found none.
