Huge Monarch (wingspan was huge)! Huge size - looked like a migrating Monarch. Flew and landed onto the sand for a drink right smack in the middle of the small beach where we were about to put in our kayak and paddleboard. Drank for a long while before flying off and taking the wind north. It was so big, it looked like a bird in the distance as it soared and flew away.
