At the top of the meadow we saw 3 monarchs. Two were mating and a third tried to intervene. (I suspect two males and one female.) Walking down the meadow to the main building we saw more monarchs, a total of 3. Could one of them have been one of the 3 we saw earlier? Maybe, but the meadow is full of milkweed. We hope we saw 6!
