A warm sunny day after two weeks cool and wet without seeing any monarchs. The sightings were individuals on the old railway/cycle path between Low and Kazabazua. 2 were females just north of Venosta inspecting milkweed but the most northerly (5 km north of Venosta) was a very ragged (?)male hanging out with fritillaries. What a hero! (see picture)
