Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/16/2017

Number: 1

This was the first adult we have seen in our yard this season. She was a large, bright and appeared healthy. She was feeding on the Milkweed but was bouncing all over our wild flowers that occupy the butterfly garden. A picture was not taken because we did not want to disturb her. Also we just wanted to observe since this was the first of 2017 for us. She has been fluttering around for the last 30 minutes. Temp is 91 sunny, no wind and high humidity.
