July 17th update, as of today I have released 113 monarchs....51 males and 62 females. I still have 6 chryslis 13 caterpillars and 125 eggs that I have collected in the last 2 days. I'm seeing 3-5 monarchs a day just driving to work and back. There has been monarchs in my yard everyday for the last 3 weeks. Very strong population this year!!! Milkweed doing very well, predators becoming more numerous, but 1000's of plants to choose from. Also endless flowers everywhere.
