Hello, I manage a native butterfly house; we are in our fourth year. Last weekend we had approx. 50 monarchs eclose, with more emerging throughout the week. I have not seen any of this generation mating or laying eggs. They are exhibiting behaviors of the generation that migrates-clustering together on our mesh. It is about a month and a half early for this. Could it be? If so, I suppose we should be tagging them.
