Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 07/26/2017

Number: 2

It's hot, muggy and overcast after heavy rain last night. The Monarchs are out and keeping me company while I pull weeds in the garden. I've only seen males the last few days. They are busy feeding on zinnia, coneflowers, joe pye weed and other July blooms. When they see each other they do mid-air combat for a few moments and then they go back to nectaring.
