Well I got very excited when I thought I spotted a third Monarch in the yard this morning. But on closer inspection it turned out to be the Monarch look-a-like, the Viceroy. It flies much faster and erratically. My other 2 real Monarchs are busy floating around the milkweed field. This Viceroy was buzzing all over the place in a very twitchy flight pattern.
