After planting 2 milkweeds, I saw 2 adult Monarchs. After, I saw eggs, and later 2 monarchs coming out of their chrysalis. Eventually there were 8 small caterpillars, but only 1 survived. I moved it and plant on screened porch. It formed this chrysalis.

I found more eggs and 3 young caterpillars. SO, I moved more plants inside porch. They grew quickly and just today attached to a leaf to form chrysalis.

I'm awaiting my first monarch butterfly now! I had never had butterflies until I planted the milkweeds. Will submit more photos.
