Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/30/2017

Number: 1

I have a large patch of milkweed that had over 100 eggs deposited in 2015. In 2016 there was nothing. This year I have seen one very young larva and no additional eggs. I hope that there will be more. It is our habit to bring the caterpillars in and rear them in safe captivity and release them after emergence.
