1 Female which is the same one who has been visiting my butterfly garden for several weeks. (Small wing damage/marking ). 1st male today! He kept patrolling the perimeter of my tree lined yard and then going to feed on the butterfly bushes. When he sighted the female he would chase her around the yard trying to court her but she wouldn't have any part of it.Female was feeding and then flying to common milkweeds to oviposit many eggs. Predation of eggs and larva is high from, ants, wasps, yellow jackets, earwigs, wolf and crab spiders, ladybugs etc.May take some eggs to rear indoors today.
