About a dozen or so 3rd gen monarchs showed up here a week ago and have been frolicking about, mating and laying eggs on milkweed daily. I have been gardening for 20 years and this is by far the most I have seen at one time in my yard. I planted a significant sized prairie in addition to my other garden at the waystation three years ago.its amazing. Shout out from the cornbelt! Monarch waystation 1437.
