I collected 56 eggs yesterday evening. 55 on common milkweed and 1 on a swamp milkweed seedling. I went out to check my swamp milkweed seedlings early this morning, and found 8 more eggs for a total of 9 eggs on 53 swamp milkweed seedlingss. I checked every seedling this morning, whereas yesterday I looked at only 3 of the seedlings. I am growing the seedlings in yogurt containers from seed I germinated this spring, The plants are 18-24" tall.
