From July 29 through the week following, until August 4, we saw one or two adult monarchs each day. As well, we saw at least 11 larva on a single milkweed plant at our cottage near the beach. The weather has been quite warm and the butterflies were all around the cottage garden. In years past, in the same place at the same time of year, we have seen only one or two monarchs the entire week. The garden has really attracted them!
