Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 05/19/2017

Number: 1

We had what is for us a very early sighting in May. By the beginning of August we are observing large clusters of Monarch,s We have seen as many as 3 or 4 groups of 5 or 6 within about a 100 metre circle. There is plenty of Milkweed and this year we have not seen caterpillars on the invasive Dog Strangling Vine as we have in previous years. Hopefully the Monarch,s have learned not to lay eggs on it.
