All my monarchs to date have eclosed in the morning but today I had two females eclose after 4 p.m. I decided I should hold them until morning. I'm keeping them in this super huge butterfly cube I bought a couple of years ago but had never had the opportunity to use. They crawled around and exercised their wings until I closed the blinds then they both settled down in the upper right corner of the cube.
